Jasmine will be participating in the Garage Party scheduled for early December at Mile High H-D, giving a wrenching talk and signing books.
This fun event is by invitation only, so I'll have to fill you in on how it went later.

Deaf Class News
We got snowed out during our first weekend of class, so we finished all of our classroom work and day one riding exercises, but had to come back last weekend Oct. 28th, to finish our riding time and test. All 5 students (Bear: aka Fred, Bryan, Cody, Paul and Tom) did great and passed the riding test. They can all get their motorcycle endorsements now from the DMV. Plus we had a lot of fun once again.

We were assisted in the classroom by Beth Topliff, a really great interpreter and wife of Bryan, one of the students. Former students and members of the CO. Deaf Bikers Club showed up to help outside. It was quite a lot of fun as we all had time to visit and learn from each other. (They are always teaching me better ways to sign, while I'm teaching them mc safety information and how to ride!). Another successful Signed Motorcycle Class.

It is the end of the training season all around Colorado now, so there is not another Deaf class planned currently, but check back here towards Spring of 2008. We should be able to put another one together by then. ; ) Jas
